STEVE M. LESSITER

Director

SML Director Steve M. Lessiter has 30-plus years of electrical experience and knowledge to his name.

After becoming a fully qualified JIB-approved electrician at the age of 20, Steve founded his own local electrical contracting business in 1986, established just outside of the city of Norwich, Norfolk.

Following a decade of growth and recognition in East Anglia, he expanded his electrical contracting services into the world of gate and garage door automation.

Since 1996, he has been installing many recognisable names and brands of gate, garage door and home automation systems around the country, including CAME, BFT, GLIDEROL, NOVOFERM, GARADOR, DYNALITE, NIKO and ERREKA to name but a few.

Since 2019, Steve and SML has become the main UK importer and distributor of COMUNELLO AUTOMATION equipment, with the company continuing to expand its range of products and services.
